Embracing their role as ambassadors of Uruguayan gastronomy, the chefs harbour a strong belief in natural produce and use only the finest quality ingredients. Alongside a selection of traditional mouth-watering starters, the menu offers the finest cuts of beef, including fillet, sirloin and Gauchito, the top end of the fillet, cooked on the restaurant’s special grill – the Parrilla. The menu at Gourmet Natural also includes chicken, fresh fish chosen daily from the local market and a vegetarian menu available on request (24 hours’ notice is advised), with a choice of delicious side orders to bring out the flavours of each dish to perfection. Dessert lovers are also well catered for, with the Mousse de Chocolate Cocida (baked dark chocolate mousse with vanilla ice cream) an utterly decadent choice and highly recommended. Whilst the restaurant’s outdoor bar provides a taste of summer with freshly made cocktails, a comprehensive wine list features excellent Uruguayan and Portuguese labels to best accompany your meal.
